Following all these production guidelines; like remote shooting, social distancing, packaged catering are bizarre and overwhelming.

Thankfully storyboards can facilitate your commercial or film production. Storyboards can help organize your thoughts, tell your story, sell your idea, help during your shoot. And now, storyboards are being used to help visualize production in this strange new world.

Yep! It’s true! We just completed two jobs. One director needed storyboards to help visualize a location where they had to scout and shoot remotely. He needed to share his thoughts on how he was going to shoot the spot. So, storyboards came to the rescue and helped communicate his message to the on-site crew.

The other project, well this is how she put it… “The client is very wary to shoot so we’re proposing that we storyboard to help visualize our production approach for shooting with all the COVID guidelines in place (in terms of distanced talent etc).”

We’ll get through this or we’ll adapt. Years will come, years will go! After-all, we are homo-sapiens —humans. We’ve survived a whole lot throughout the ages. We will survive this and we’ll continue to tell stories in this strange new world.
