Screenwriter & Storytelling Developer
I did my first professional writing at the age of thirteen. I’ve been writing and creating ever since. I’ve done film, TV and animation development. I worked for major publishers, filmmakers, and ad agencies doing all kinds of creative work.
Along the way, I got to work with all-time greats. I listened to every word they said.
We all think in words and images. A single image is worth a thousand words. A single word can conjure a thousand images. Every word we use, every mark we make sends a message. Sending the right one is the art of storytelling.
Story is the bedrock of entertainment.
I tell stories, and I can help you tell yours.
Jim Shooter’s resume is too long. Here are a few of the entries:
Marvel * DC/Warner * Disney, when it was just Disney * Those Characters From Cleveland * Mattel * Hasbro * The Hal Prince Organization * Casablanca Record and Filmworks * Big studios * Big producers, directors, and execs * Big ad agencies * Blah, blah, blah….
He even designed a float and balloon for the Macy’s parade.
When you get right down to it, it’s all about the story.
